Evidence-Informed Application of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

$495.00

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) has been around generations and used as an effective tool for pain relief. Yet, many aspects of this intervention are shrouded in misinformation, poor understanding of mechanisms, and poor utilization of tools. In this course, IASTM will be taught from an evidence informed platform with an emphasis on enhancing clinical reasoning with use of IASTM interventions. Participants will experience hands on instruction in use of multiple IASTM tools such as tools, mobility bands, and cupping. Case studies, neurodynamics, and clinical reasoning will be emphasis of the course. Participants will be able to practice techniques, discuss rationale, demonstrate a variety of IASTM interventions, and integrate techniques into daily clinical practice after completion of the course.

Target Audience: PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, ATs
