ELIZABETH LANE, PT, DPT, PHD

Dr. Elizabeth Lane is a faculty member with URI’s Orthopaedic Residency and continuing education programs. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical College of Georgia and Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Utah. She holds board-certification in orthopaedics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. She holds several certifications- dry needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Certified Strength and Condition Specialist, and Therapeutic Pain Specialist. She has lectured at multiple national conferences and served on the Education Academy’s Residency and Fellowship Education Special Interest Group. She currently serves as Assistant Research Faculty at the University of Utah DPT program. Her research interests include a focus on neuroscience education for those with chronic spinal pain.
